GTX Logistics is a full circle Logistics firm who specializes in the logistics for the hospitality industry across North America, offering a domestic and cross-border transportation with a personal touch
Your Part of:
Working out of our Concord head office, you will assist the operations team by assuring shipments are tracked accurately and on time. You will also assist by providing detailed information including, but not limited to driver location. Your support will help grow our operations team and you will communicate thoroughly with all members. This position is a great opportunity to set foot within an extensive logistics field.
What the Job Entails:
- Track and trace all tasks assigned in our operating system to ensure accuracy of pick ups and deliveries
- Initiate check calls with carriers
- Keep up to date with accurate and current information
- Communicate with carriers to ensure that on time service is provided for all shipments
- Update load notes with all actions they do
- Proactively identify problems
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment through the day and escalates issues to the operations team asap thay may cause any delays
- Adhere to al lGTX policies and procedures
- Effective and professional communication with carriers and internal team members
- Proactively reporting potential delay or issues
- Inputting shipment last locations and other information in operating system
